For many years in my study of A Course in Miracles, I ignored the tiny but very important three-letter word, “for.” This little word makes a big difference when we look at what the Holy Spirit can do for us.

In preparing for my From Anxiety To Love Masterclass, I searched the Web Edition of ACIM (published by the Foundation for Inner Peace) and below you will find the compiled quotes that speak to what the Holy Spirit (or Jesus or the Christ within) does for us. A downloadable printer-friendly version (in English and Spanish) is available at the bottom of this post.

When I read these quotes all together, it brings me into an experience of feeling carried and cared for by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit does so much for us! No wonder why the ego gets insulted:

 

And it is very hard for you to realize it is not personally insulting that your contribution and the Holy Spirit’s are so extremely disproportionate. (ACIM, T-18.IV.7:4)

 

The ACIM quotes below demonstrate that the Holy Spirit does these things (and more) for us (some references refer to what Jesus or the Christ within does for us). She/He:
